Martin Sr. got his start in the drywall industry at the age of 14. After quickly rising through the ranks at one of the top construction firms in Texas, he set out to start his own company. On his 21st birthday, in the Spring of 1985, he created Rangel Drywall.
After 37 years, he has continued to serve the Dallas area, primarily through referrals. He has worked alongside and consulted for the top luxury builders and designers in Dallas and continues to provide high-quality work at competitive pricing. His methodology is simple: “If you do something, you do it right.”
As for many children born into family businesses, “Jr” began working at a young age. At the age of 6, he would sneak on to the work trucks to tag along with his father and the crew to job sites. He would help sweep the work sites, unload tools, and help his mother keep track of the finances.
After graduating from UNT and working in corporate, he decided that lifestyle wasn’t for him. He returned to work full-time while earning his MBA. Like his father, he is pursuing his own endeavors but desires to continue the family business with the same values and principles as his father. “One piece of advice he engrained into me was, “How you do anything is how you do everything.”

We are open Monday through Friday 7 AM – 5 PM, Saturday by appointment only, and closed on Sundays.
